INFORMATION DAY ON THE EU/6FP/IST/IWEBCARE PROJECT

to be organized on the basis of the Work Plan of the Project  EU/6FP/IST.- 2005 – 028055 “iWebCare: Integrated Web Services Platform for Facilitation of Fraud Detection in Health Care e-Government Services” approved by the European Commission for years 2006-8 and being financed by the European Union within its 6FP and  the IST - Information Society Technologies program with practical demonstrations of the sofar achieved results of the project to be completed on 31 December 2008 (for more information please visit http://iwebcare.iisa-innov.com or these webpages).

and subsequently to a more wider oriented

WORKSHOP  ON  e-EUROPE

being devoted to presentations of results as achieved by the workshop participants in various projects and applications in the different areas of the EU Lisbon strategy on e-Europe (e-government, e-health, e-business, e-learning, e-inclusion, e-banking, e-security, e-identification, e-content, e-…, Information Society, Knowledge Based Economy, etc.)

Participation: It is free of charge i.e.  without any registration fee but due to the limited capacity of the room and thus also limited number of participants, a prior registration  by e-mail with the names of participants and their affiliations are needed before  the 30 October 2008 at the e-mail address: infoday@fm.uniba.sk. To the same date it is necessary also that participants interested in presentations of their papers will  submit the final versions of their contributions. 

Papers:  The participants interested in their active participation in the workshop can send their papers in an electronic form to the e-mail address: infoday@fm.uniba.sk  by 30 October 2008 at the latest. Organizers reserve the right not to accept papers that by their content or form will not correspond to the main objectives and criteria of the workshop. An information on not selected papers will be disributed to the particular authors by 7 November 2008. As for the formal layout of the papers they have to be prepared according to the template as presented in the attached example. The papers should not exceed 10 pages. All selected papers will be published in the particular common proceedings for both i.e. the Information day as well as the workshop.
Formal layout of the papers

Language: The Information Day will be in English only and without any interpreation, the same also regarding the presentations and papers. The papers for the workshop could be in English, Slovak or Czech languages.  In case that a paper will not be in English, then the abstract has to be in English. All oral presentations have to be prepared in power point and as far as it is possible in English.
